CLIMATE ACTION FOR BUSINESS
Action Zero is a new revolutionary service to help businesses tackle climate change. Recently launched by Wenta it builds on Watford Borough Council's drive for the town to become greener and more sustainable and supports our ambitious goal to make the borough carbon neutral by 2030.
The service is delivered in-house by Wenta's team of expert advisors in business support and Net Zero. Net Zero is the target to completely negate the amount of greenhouse gases produced, through reducing carbon emissions.
Support for smaller businesses
There is a lot of good work being undertaken by big business in reducing their carbon footprint. However, there are great opportunities for smaller businesses and one man/women bands to reduce theirs. Watford Borough Council recently funded a hugely successful Sustainable Business Programme, which provided expert advice, support and grants, helping more than 100 smaller businesses become more sustainable.
Wenta's affordable, digital service complements this programme and is available to any business owner that wants to learn more about climate change, start their net zero journey for their company and/or get accredited.
The aim of the service is to transform the way businesses reduce their carbon footprint, in an affordable and practical way. There's even a free option.
