WHAT IS THE WATFORD WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAMME?

 

Watford Borough Council has partnered with Branduin Business Support to deliver a new eight week course specifically designed for women based in Watford who are thinking about setting up their own business or, have a new or early-stage business.

 

This programme of events and one-to-one advice will help you develop the skills to help you set up and run your business successfully.

 

This practical course will launch in the spring 2022 and covers key topics including:

  • Setting Goals

  • Developing your Business Model and Value Proposition

  • Market Research

  • Personal Survival Budget

  • Sales and Cash-flow forecast

  • Finance and Accounting

  • Marketing and Branding,

  • Social Media, Website and Selling Online

  • Business Presentations​

Who can take part?

The programme is aimed at women based in Watford who have been adversely impacted by the pandemic who want to start, grow and run a successful business.

 

The programme welcomes women who, for personal and family reasons, have taken significant time off work or an extended break from their chosen careers, and are evaluating the prospect of self-employment.
